My first van was this 1984 Daihatsu 850. One of the previous owners had put the window in the side door.
This is a poem what I wrote:
(ahem)
With just the right amount of curves, your petite body
Made me part with reason, and my money.
I knew you’d been with many others
But I was innocent in these matters.
The night we spent together was just the start;
I had great plans of which we’d both take part.
People thought I wanted you for only one thing:
They couldn’t see how practical I was being.
I always tried to satisfy your every craving
But in the end you became just too demanding.
Now you’re with another
But I’ll never forget the time we spent together.
